Dr. Holdinga has been actively practicing in Marathon, FL, since 1996. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1991 at the University of Utrecht in The Netherlands.
Later, he received a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2010 at Regis University in Colorado.
He completed a 2-year clinical residency in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 1995 and went on to specialize in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. In the spring of 2016, Dr. Holdinga obtained speciality certification as a Board Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.
He is an active Fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, a member of the Research Peer-Review Committee, and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. His main clinical interests include musculoskeletal injury, sports, and orthopedic physical therapy.
Beyond his professional achievements, he is also a scout master for Boy Scout Troop 901 in Marathon, FL
Dr. Cami Diezel-Holdinga, PT, DPT, MHA, PCS
Cami was born and raised in Marathon, FL. A 1991 graduate of Marathon High School, she went on to receive her Bachelor's degree from Florida International University in 1996.
Two years later, she completed her Master's degree in Physical Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. In 2016, she graduated from NSU with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
She completed the requirements to become a Board Certified Physical Therapy Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy in 2006. But she didn't stop there. In 2010, she completed a Master's degree in Health Care Administration and Health Informatics from the University of Phoenix.
Beyond pediatrics, her interests include Fall Prevention. Dr. Holdinga leads the Fall Prevention Program at Island Physical Therapy Center and focuses extensively on dizziness and vestibular rehabilitation.
Dr. Kristin Carlson, PT, DPT, OCS, GCS
Dr. Rauch received her Bachelor of Science degree in Comprehensive Biology at the University of Iowa before obtaining her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Governors State University.
She crossed the country to begin working in the Keys and joined our team in August 2015. She's an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and has a special interest in orthopedics.
In 2017 she completed the requirements to become a Board Certified Physical Therapy Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. In 2020 Kristin completed the requirements to become a Board Certified Physical Therapy Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy.
